College Counseling News

Information about events, reminders, deadlines, and announcements – check back frequently for updates!

Financial Aid Saturdays in February and March: Parents and students who would like personal assistance in completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) may attend any of the Financial Aid Saturdays events to get assistance. For more information, visit: www.collegereadyaustin.com.  Assistance is also provided to help students/families complete other financial aid applications as needed, including the Texas Application for State Financial Aid (TASFA) and scholarship applications, to help secure financial aid that may be needed to ensure students are able to go to college. Tax preparation services will be provided by Foundation Communities Community Tax Centers at select sites. Services at these events are free and open to the public.
